The Riparian Social Welfare Foundation successfully organized a Children’s Retreat on July 26th-27th, 2024. This retreat provided children with a range of enriching activities, including educational sessions, arts and crafts, and recreational time. Key highlights included workshops on moral stories, safety education, singing competitions, and a communal love feast. The event saw active participation and positive feedback, demonstrating its success and impact.

1. Objectives

Educational Enrichment: To impart valuable lessons through moral stories and safety education.

Creative Expression: To engage children in arts and crafts, and singing competitions.

Social Interaction: To foster a sense of community and collaboration among participants.

Recreation and Enjoyment: To provide recreational activities that enhance physical and mental well-being.

2. Methodology

Planning: The retreat was planned over several months, involving coordination with facilitators and volunteers.

Activities: Activities included moral stories, safety education, arts and crafts, singing competitions, and recreational time.

Day 2: The day featured new songs taught by educators, additional moral stories, continued arts and crafts, and recreational activities. The retreat concluded with a communal love feast, which was enjoyed by all attendees.
